Lioness gives Birth to 3 Cubs

RAJKOT, Date :- 29/09/2011 :

Lioness 'Masti' gave birth to three cubs on Tuesday night at the local zoo. According to officials, she had mated with lion Arjun 110 days ago. 'Arjun' was brought to Rajkot zoo from the Hyderabad zoo. Now, the number of lions in the zoo has reached 10; three adult lions, four adult lioness and three cubs. Lioness Masti was born at Rajkot zoo in August 2004.

According to the zoo authorities, there are 37 animals in captivity which includes tiger, leopard, deer and crocodile among others.
